I've been laying low with the updates, as things are changing (for the better!), but I am also way too excited to finish up and show the world what's coming. A new website, new look, new (shorter, and what I think is catchier) name, new imagery, and more.

But now, I want to (finally!) share one of my favorite surprise proposal sessions.. Jason and Ashley, from Oklahoma, visited NYC in December. Jason had the intent of proposing at the Rockefeller Ice Skating Rink, and although it was a blustery day, the surprise was spectacular and beautiful. I wish all the best to this sweet couple, they are truly a blast and were fun to photograph!

We had a great time getting to know this couple, and fun times as well! From our first meeting in Maryland while on our way down to Florida.. to our FREEZING and wet (but fun!) beach/Christmas Eve engagement session in Asbury Park, all the way to the wedding, Lindsayanna and Keith became one of our favorite couples! Fun and silly, loving and amazingly beautiful. We had a blast with them and are SO happy to have captured their special moment. Enjoy!

We had a blast with Kerri, Jerry, their friends and family at their beautiful wedding. We started the day in Staten Island for the ceremony, with portraits and fun afterwards at the beautiful historic Snug Harbor. Then, we headed to New Jersey, for an awesome reception at the Pantagis Renaissance. Thanks to Ro Molina for working with us as second shooter!

Husband and wife, Frederick and Berenice, visited NYC from Texas, and booked us for an engagement-style photo session. I was informed that there would be, well, an important announcement that the two wanted to convey in some photos that were to be taken during the shoot.
We met at the pedestrian walkway on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge on what seemed to be the hottest day of the year.. and what immediately ensued was kind of hot in itself! These two are naturals at giving the camera "the look," and being fashionable.. If I didn't know what I was there for, I'd think I was shooting for a magazine! :)
Yet, the time came to photograph the special moment.. Berenice and Fred wanted some photos to announce to their friends and family that they're expecting! And what better place to do that than on the historic Brooklyn Bridge??
Afterwards, we took a short stroll through DUMBO, and headed onto the subway, bound for Central Park, where the modeling continued ;) Seriously, I'm being a bit tongue in cheek here, but these guys were totally awesome. Funny, sweet, and what a great couple they make. Congrats, you guys!

Mathias and Melissa took a trip from Georgia to visit the Big Apple.  Little did Melissa know that after watching the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Mathias would bring her over to Rockefeller Centre, to propose to her in front of the world famous Christmas tree.

Jessica and Zack hired us to photograph the celebration of their engagement, which occurred at their families' Thanksgiving and Hanukkah get together. We had such a great time being a part of this family's celebration. They are all such genuine and fun people!

We photographed these adorable brothers for their family holiday cards. They sure were ready and excited for the holidays!

 This lovely family came to visit the Big Apple from Texas, and were looking for some fun, holiday inspired, and unspeakably New York photos.

We began our day in Grand Central Terminal..






And found our way to Bryant Park, Rockefeller Centre and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Our clients all have a story to tell. Each and every one of them is unique in many ways. Whenever a client chooses us as their photographer, we immediately begin envisioning their final photos and take the time to really get to know them. This photo shoot was no different. Our client was an NYPD officer who wanted to do something really cute, silly, funny and still maintain a beautiful depiction of his family, and boy did I have the right vision. These photos were taken at a small park in Greenpoint Brooklyn. The moment we left their house to make way for our photo session destination, mother nature decided that she was not going to cooperate and it began to sporadically drizzle. We made an executive decision  to B-line for a small park closer to their house. As we arrived at this park, while I closely listened to the family laugh and speak to each other, my eyes gazed upon the most perfect area for these photos. It was rich in bright foliage and carpeted with freshly fallen leaves. I immediately blurted out in an uncontrollable vomit of the mouth, "OMG, it is so perfect!" As you will see, it totally was. What a great  family. Our younger subject was shy at first, but quickly folded under questioning....which involved some jokes and tickling. Enjoy and share!!!

This was our first Halloween themed wedding. It took place over two days. The first day we took care of all the traditional photos, complete with wedding gown and tuxedos. On the second day, the ghosts and goblins came out in style. Our bride and groom were dressed as Jack Sparrow and a Piratess. Some guests looked like they spent more on their costume than the cost of a wedding gift, and The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man even made an appearance.  Enjoy !
